IPR Extreme Duty High Pressure Pump Filter Screen AKA HPOP Screen has finally been released. IPR's HPOP filter screen is constructed with a full metal frame with IPR's proprietary stainless steel dual layer mesh which features a sintering technology that fuses 2 different materials to create a single layer. The top stainless mesh is fine to filter contaminants with a under supporting coarse layer for added strength. IPR Extreme Duty HPOP Filter Screens are indestructible and is the best upgrade over your OEM plastic frame and ultra thin stainless mesh. OEM screens that break apart end up in the IPR valve or high pressure oil pump which can cause serious damage.

nice quality , in my professional mechanical opinion the rubber seal around the perimeter needs to be slightly larger or protrude a few thousandths more to adequately seal and prevent any unwanted debris from entering the hp pump.

Definitely worth the coin to not have a torn hpop screen. Quality built and the peace of mind that it will not rip when I go to do the next oil cooler.

This is a beautifully crafted piece and I can't for the life of me ever seeing another HPOP screen failure again. It's a shame you can't see it from the outside.
