These updated stand pipes from Ford have been improved from the production stand pipes currently in your vehicle with the added Teflon backup washers behind the rubber oring. The production stand pipes were notorious for blowing out the oring when oil pressure would exceed 3000psi. Common symptoms of blown orings are no start, hard cold start and no start when engine reaches normal operating temps.
